A Thermobile Used Oil heater is the smart way to utilize used oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, synthetic, and cooking oil to heat your shop. The EPA approved method of recycling used oil while burning it on site for heat recovery eliminates costly hauling fees, "cradle to grave" disposal liability, and heating costs. Used oil heating technology permits the end user to recover the investment costs within possibly one heating season because of the savings from using waste fluids instead of increasingly expensive fuel oil.
Thermobile used oil heaters are backed by 40 years of experience in the manufacturing and development of portable heating equipment. All models are equipped with an onboard fuel tank. Full combustion is achieved in a vaporizing system and non burnable residue is retained in the burner pan. This system does not produce any unpleasant smell or smoke when properly vented. FLUE STACK
REQUIREMENTS
- AT 306/307/400 require a -0.06 inch water column with 6 inch flue stack.
- A minimum flue height of 3 feet from the roof apex and 13 feet above ground level is required.
- AT 500 requires an 8 inch flue stack with a minimum flue height of 3 feet from the roof apex and 15 feet above ground level.
- A ”T Piece” with a draft stabilizer comes standard on all models.
